“We may not be able to prepare the future for our children, but we can at least prepare our children for the future.”

Support for schools

Supporting schools is crucial because education plays a vital role in shaping the future of young children. Schools provide children with the knowledge and skills necessary to not just succeed academically, but also in their later careers. By supporting schools, we invest in the development of our future leaders, thinkers, and problem solvers.

Illiteracy is a prevalent issue among underprivileged children, who are often behind students from middle-income families. Half of children from low-income communities start first grade up to two years behind these children. In fact, 80% of after-school programs serving underprivileged children have no books for children to read. Because of the lack of support, underprivileged children are unable to obtain employment or break the cycle of poverty. By supporting schools, we can provide these children with access to education, especially reading, which is a basic necessity that they may not have otherwise.

Your donation to Beginner Bookworms will help support our distribution of books to schools, which will make a significant difference in the life of an illiterate child. Even a small contribution is a contribution to their education and development, which can help them escape poverty and achieve success.
